Woodlands Hospice first ever Lantern Walk is taking place on Saturday 5th October 2024. It’s a chance to get together with family and friends to celebrate a loved one whilst helping raise vital funds for Woodlands Hospice.
You will recieve a lantern free for the walk which you can take home with you and the option to buy additional lights to dedicate to your loved one will be available on the night. There will also be a market area at the end of the walk with food and drink stalls along with some fantastic family friendly entertainment!
When and where?
On October 5th 2024 at Croxteth Hall Ln, Liverpool L12 0HB, take on the challenge of a 5k walk. Begin at Croxteth Hall, heading round the park. View map
Arrival is from 4pm, warm up is at 5.45pm followed by the walk at 6pm.
What to expect
The walk will be set at a family and doggy friendly pace as there will be a lead and rear marshal guiding the way as well as many other friendly faces in place to encourage you along the way.
The walk finishes back at Croxteth Hall, there will be hot food and refreshments available, along with a great mix of entertainment and an option for a light dedication.
What to wear
We encourage you to where appropriate footwear for a park walk and clothing for October weather.

As you will know fundraising is essential to keep Woodlands Hospice services running. As an independent charity we need to raise £4,000 per day to be able to continue to provide our services free of charge to those who need us at their most vulnerable.
You will be sent a link to your unique online fundraising page, which will allow you to share your incredible efforts with family, friends and across all social media platforms.
